This week Xyron DT shows you Christmas projects and today I have for you a CAS layout really very different from my usual style, but I love it! As background I used a faboulous wood effect white Bazzill and I decided to use only gold on it – I love white/gold color combo for Christmas projects! Pictures are from past 8th December, the date that me and hubby decorate the tree, as tradition.
Vediamo come ho realizzato il layout. Ho spruzzato del glimmer mist oro sullo sfondo creando macchie e gocce.
This is how I made the layout. I sprayed gold glimmer on the cardstock to create spots.
I randomly stamped several times: to create an ombre effect you only need to stamp without adding color after a first stamp.
I used Xyron Mega runner to adhere pictures. Have you noticed that my Teresa Collins Mega Runner perfectly matches with my LO? It is so stylish!

To embellish I decided to use wood veneers, to match with the cardstock texture. To make them sticky, I used Xyron 3in Disposable Sticker Maker. hey are both so easy to use: put the item in the machine, pull from the other side, remove the plastic and your embellishment has become adhesive and ready to use! Xyron Sticker Makers are perfect to glue down intricated die-cuts, chipboards, wood veneers…really a must have in your craft room!
To complete the layout I added stickers, puffy stickers, sequins and wooden stars. Here some close ups.
I hope you liked my layout.
