Lo scorso anno ho partecipato al mio terzo Scrap2Days e ho avuto l’opportunità di conoscere la mitica Enza Gudor, che ho scoperto essere una persona dolcissima oltre che una scrapper incredibilmente brava! Per l’occasione Enza ha proposto un progetto davvero molto interessante, un mini piccino piccino e ricco di particolari. che io però ho completamente modificato, sia a livello di carte usate (lei aveva scelto la collezione Sunny Days ma io volevo realizzare un album su mia figlia), sia per quello che riguarda la struttura (questa non è stata una cosa voluta, semplicemente ho sbagliato a tagliare e cordonare le carte e quindi ho dovuto cambiare le cose in corso d’opera, con l’aiuto prezioso di Enza!). Ecco il risultato del fantastico corso di Enza.
Last year I took part at Scrap2Days for the 3rd time and I had the chance to meet the awesome Enza Gudor, which is an awesome scrapbooker and a lovely person too! Her mini album class was a cute mini album full of little details, but I completely changed it: she used Sunny Days collection but I wanted to make a mini about my daughter Isabella, so I changed the materials, and I also modified the structure since I made a mistake in cutting and scoring papers, so Enza helped me adapting the structure to my needs. This is my mini.
La particolarità del mini è che ho cucito a zig zag intorno a tutte le foto e ad alcune tag usate come abbellimento. Anche tutte le pagine sono cucite a punto dritto; tutte queste cuciture aggiungono texture al progetto. Questo non era previsto nel mini di Enza, è stata una mia idea e devo dire che mi piace davvero tanto l’effetto finale, quindi lo riproporrò sicuramente in altri lavori!
I really, really love how it turned out. Especially I love the idea I had to sew all along the pages and the pictures, to create a kind of frame for them. It adds a lot of texture and I will certainly use again this technique on other projects!

Some of the pages are open on the upper part and I put tags inside them, where I also added pictures and embellishments. For the mini I used the beautiful Hello Baby Girl collection by Echo Park – one of my favorite ever!
