Questa settimana il DT Xyron vi mostra progetti realizzati in partnership con Maya Road. Date un’occhiata ai loro prodotti, perchè c’è davvero l’imbarazzo della scelta (fustelle, abbellimenti, charms, fiori…). Tra i loro prodotti io ho scelto due bellissime fustelle effetto diamante: il cuore e il fiore. Ho realizzato una card clean & simple molto primaverile, con sfondo acquerellato (ve l’avevo detto che sto in fissa con gli acquerelli!)
This week Xyron DT shows you project in partnership with Maya Road. Take a look at their awesome catalog, since they have so many type of products: dies, embellishments, charms, flowers… I could choose something from their catalog and I chose Geometric Heart die and Geometric Flower die. These were my choices because these geometric dies are so cool nowadays, and I love them! I made a spring CAS card with a watercolor background (I told you I am watercolor addicted lately!)
Vediamo come ho realizzato la card: la base è cartoncino bianco quadrato, sul quale ho creato lo sfondo con gli acquerelli e la tecnica del packaging. Si utilizza un pezzo di plastica, ottimo ad esempio il packaging degli abbellimenti scrap, per sfumare gli acquerelli, e poi si schiaccia la plastichina sulla carta per ottenere appunto uno sfondo acquerellato.
Let’s see how I created the card: the base is white square cardstock, on which I created a watercolor affect using a piece of plastic (you can recycle the packaging of embellishments, for example). You need to add a little bit of watercolors on the plastic, you can also put more than one color together, as you can see in the picture. Then you press your cardstock on the plastic to create the watercolor effect.
Ho poi aggiunto delle goccine picchiettando sul pennello impregnato di acquerello fucsia.
I added watercolor splatters by tapping on the brush.
Con la bellissima fustella Maya Road Geometric Blossom ho ricavato questo fiore in cartoncino glitter oro, e l’ho incollato alla card grazie alla praticissima Xyron 3in Disposable Sticker Maker: basta infilarlo, tirare dall’altra parte, rimuovere la pellicola e in pochi secondi il nostro abbellimento diventa adesivo. Le Xyron Sticker Makers sono perfette per incollare le fustellate molto intricate, come questa!
With the beautiful Maya Road die Geometric Blossom I created a gold glitter flower, that I adhered on the card using Xyron 3in Disposable Sticker Maker. It is so easy to use: put the item in the machine, pull from the other side, remove the plastic and your embellishment has become adhesive and ready to use! Xyron Sticker Makers are perfect to glue down intricated die-cuts, like this amazing flower!
Ho aggiunto del filo dorato per un po’ di texture, e sticker vari per abbellire.
I added gold thread for texture, and some stickers to embellish.
Come sentiment ho usato un die cut in acetato, e l’ho incollato con la Xyron 1.5in Sticker Maker: anche le cose trasparenti, come appunto acetato e vellum, possono essere utilizzate con le Xyron Sticker Maker, non rimarrà nessuna traccia di adesivo. Infine ho decorato la card con un cuoricino in gomma crepla glitter e paillettes, per aggiungere un tocco luccicoso.
As sentiment I used an acetate die-cut. To adhere it I used Xyron 1.5in Sticker Maker: Xyron Sticker Makers are perfect to attach transparent items, such as acetate or vellum, since they won’t leave any trace of adhesive! To make the card sparkle I finally added sequins and a tiny foam glitter heart.
