Questo sarà il mio ultimo post per il DT Xyron: è appena uscita la DT call ma non ci sarà più la divisione international, quindi questo è il mio modo per salutare e ringraziare tutto il favoloso team con cui ho avuto il piacere di lavorare durante lo scorso anno. Un grazie davvero enorme a Julie e Beth, magnifiche padrone di casa e DT coordinator, e a tutte le mie compagne di avventura (Erin, Laura, Anita, Pam, Mitsyana, Sharon, Katie, Jessica, Maria, Nicole, Midge & Madge, Jessica Roe), è stato un anno bellissimo e pieno di soddisfazioni… mi mancherete! Ma ora, ecco il mio ultimo progetto: non so se sapete che prima che lo scrapbooking diventasse il mio amore principale del mondo craft io creavo gioielli e negli ultimi tempi soprattutto in lamina di metallo incisa o con la tecnica del fold forming. Ecco, ho pensato di rispolverare i miei vecchi attrezzi da creatrice pazza di gioielli per proporvi delle calamite in lamina di metallo incise! Con il refill plastificato/calamita della Xyron Creative Station è stato davvero facilissimo: scoprite il tutorial in questo post.
This will be my last post for Xyron DT: they just announced the call but it is not international this year, so this is my farewell and my thanks to all the fabulous team I had the privilege to work with in the past year. A big thanks to Julie and Beth, magnificent host and DT coordinator, and to all my teamie (Erin, Laura, Anita, Pam, Mitsyana, Sharon, Katie, Jessica, Maria, Nicole, Midge & Madge, Jessica Roe), it was a wonderful year full of satisfaction… I will miss you guys! But now, here it is my last project: you should know that before scrapbooking become my favorite crafty thing, I created jewelry, especially handstamped and fold forming ones. Well, I thought to put the dust away from my jewlery tools and show you how to create handstamped laminate magnets with Xyron Creative Station and laminate/magnet refill. Con la fustella Bigz inclusa nello starter kit della Big Shot ho ritagliato le mie forme – cuore, tondino e farfalla – dalla lamina in metallo della Docrafts: c
I used Big Shot Bigz die from the starter kit to cut my shapes – heart, circle and butterfly – from Docrafts metal sheet.
Ho usato il martello da cesello e i punzoni alfabeto per incidere le scritte sul metallo. Avrete bisogno anche dell’apposito blocchetto; vi consiglio di martellare ogni lettera al massimo 2 volte altrimenti rischiate di bucare la lamina.
I used jewelry hammer and alphabetic metal stamps to stamp words on my shapes. You will need also the metallic block of course, and I suggest you to stamp each letter by hammering it only one or twice to avoid the metal sheet to break.

Ho infilato le formine in metallo a faccia in su nella Creative Station caricata con il refill plastificato/calamita da 9″. Vi ho già detto che adoro questo attrezzo magico?! In questo mio video potete vederlo in azione con un altro refill, quello per fare stickers, mentre in questo post ho usato il refill plastificatore per creare un midori. Semplicemente cambiando la ricarica al suo interno si possono fare tantissime cose diverse. Basta infilare la carta o quello che volete seguendo le guide, girare la manopola e tagliare con l’apposita leva sul retro quando poi esce dall’altra parte.
I placed my metal shapes face up into Creative Station carried with the laminate/magnet cartridge and slide it into the machine. As you turn the handle, your item will travel through the machine and come out the other side with laminate over it and a magnet backing too . . . Did I already told you how much I love Creative Station?! Simply by changing the refill you can create so many different things: adhesives, magnets, laminated items… In this video you can see it in action with adhesive refill and in this post you can see how I made a midori using the laminate refill.

Ecco le mie calamite – le ho messe su una valigetta di metallo perchè non ho barre magnetiche dove poterle attaccare, ma tanto non sono per me, infatti le ho realizzate per fare dei regalini. non sono carine?! Potete realizzarne di diverse forme e con tante sritte diverse e sono appunto una simpatica idea regalo anche per un meeting scrap magari!
Aren’t they pretty? I love that I can make my own magnets, creating a truly customized collection of magnets. They make great hostess gifts, you can also give them as a gift to a scrapbooking meeting!
